RATES and TERMS

BACKWARD GLANCES offers reasonable rates, friendly service, and full negotiation. Basic per hour charge is £7.50, plus usual out of pocket expenses such as photographs, postage and packing, publications etc.

BACKWARD GLANCES research is conducted by a local West Norfolk resident of 35 years who works part time for the library service, and has worked for a Norfolk based lecturer and researcher. Her husband's East Anglian family has been extensively researched back to the 1600's.

  • All work guaranteed to commence within 10 working days unless otherwise agreed.

  • You will be provided with typewritten reports with identified sources and references.

  • Work is paid in advance. You will be provided advice on the best appropriate research actions in advance.

  • You will probably want to reserve only an hour or two to start since this may solve simple research queries.

  • An extensive list of parishes is covered, concentrating in the West Norfolk area covered by the Ordnance Survey Landranger Map 132.

  • All client requirements are individually discussed and arranged. Confidentiality and discretion are guaranteed.
